Firewall Whitelist
Hello To Anyone Who Can Help:
In Advanced View - Firewall Settings - Show whitelist, the Trusted applications are all in strange and unreadable symbols.
#1 - Is there a way to un-scramble these symbols, or better yet:
#2 - Is there a way to edit these trusted applications and/or remove them?
From what I've read in other forums, some of these applications - "alchohol 120", "123 Hidden Sender", "Rufus", etc. - seem rather suspect, and I'd rather not have them on my trusted list.
I'd rather add them on my own as I go along.
Any advice would be most appreciated.
Thank you.

Additional Information:
I would like to point out that this occurred after I downloaded and ran a patch that was recommended for another issue (see: http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=12213).
I was directed to go to this page: (http://www.bitdefender.com/KB568), yet this patch did not solve the problem that it was intended to.
I don't know if this had anything to do with it, but there it is. Again, I would merely like to edit and/or remove this trusted application list if possible.
Thanks again.0 -
Hello Fred5000 ,
In the topic that you mentioned, we have recommend you to upgrade for free to BitDefender 2010 . Please let us know if the same issue occurs after you perform these steps .
Also , for your information the BitDefender Firewall Whitelist contains a list with all the applications that will be automatically added by the Firewall as trusted , when those applications will try to connect to the Internet . You cannot remove or add a program in this list .
If you still have the 2009 version installed please send us a screen-shot of the applications that were not displayed correctly .
