Hello Master Hero ,
Please try the following steps :
1. Click on Start from Windows choose Run , type regedit then click on Ok .
2. Go to the next location : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\ , right click on the "Components" registry entry and choose Permissions .
3. Click on the Advanced button that you will find there .
4. Here , click on the Owner tab , select the user you are using and check "Replace owner..." and click on Apply .
5. Open the Auditing tab , check "Replace all existing inheritable auditing entries..." and click on Apply .
6. Open the Permissions tab check "Replace all child object permissions ..." and click on Apply .
7. Close the Registry Editor window .
Now, save and run the BitDefender uninstall tool one more time . You can download it from the next link:http://www.bitdefender.com/uninstall
After the uninstall process is complete , reboot your system and download the BitDefender installation kit from one of the following links:
BitDefender Total Security 2010 32bit
BitDefender Total Security 2010 64bit
and try one more time to install BitDefender 2010.
