Not good from first impressions.
Generally it just slows everything down with vsserv.exe being the main culprit.
Any benefit had from upgrading to Windows 7 is lost by performance hogging activities of BD2010.
This is with Windows 7 32bit on a dual processor PC with 4g of RAM.
This seems to follow a consistent pattern with Bitdefender products.
1. New version released. People with existing subscription upgrade- thinking it will be more efficient and more secure.
2. New version is not properly beta tested and has a large number of bugs and performance issues.
3. Frustrated customers are effectively used as Beta testers as they go through a long painful process of sending in data logs etc.
4. After months and months of anger and frustraction the product eventually stabilises.
5. And that's when a new version of Bit Defender is released.
And so it goes.
