Bitdefender Antivirus 2010 As A Firewall? Question - Please Help!

Hi All,


I'm having MAJOR problems trying to run Zonealarm and Bdav together, which really confuses me because it used to work just fine.


Anyway, what I am wondering is - If I had Bitdefender Antivirus 2010 running for antivirus do I need to have a separate program running for my firewall, i.e. Zonealarm?


It appears these programs hate each other and completely crash my system (forcing restore point) when I try to make them work together.


I just don't want to be unprotected if I only have BD2010 running alone............


Any comments much appreciated!

    In ZoneAlarm preferences, uncheck the box "load zonealarm at startup". After bootup is finished, open zonealarm. See if this works around conflict.
