Btd2010 Cant Open My Control Panel

in Bitdefender 2010 products

After installing bitdefender 2010 my control panel will not open up. I tried going directly to options under control panel but it wont open up either. I set my bit options to expert and set my firewall to allow known programs and still not working. Any suggestions on how to fix this? :huh:

    Hello chillydillyooo,


    For start please open BitDefender, click on Settings then choose the Expert Mode. Select the Antivirus module then click on the Advanced Settings button . Here disable Active Virus Control then click on Ok. Try to open Control Panel and look if is working .


    Now, please go to the next location from your computer :C:\WINDOWS\system32, look after "control.exe" then double click on it and the Control Panel window should be displayed . If this will not happen please follow the steps from the next article :http://kb.bitdefender.com/KB490, obtain the Avis and the Gmer logs, upload them to http://www.sendspace.com/ then post here the download links .
