How To Upgrade My Internet Security 2009 To 2010 With Same Serial Number

hi everyone

I read about upgrading to new bitdefender Internet security 2010 version

so I uninstalled my bitdefender internet security 2009 version and installed the new one

but after installation

it says that my serial number which is used for internet security 2009 , does not work for 2010

please help me

Please let us know what error message you received when you tried to register your new BitDefender and also try the workaround that we have sent you through the email .

thanks for your answer

I thought nobody would answer after 3 days

I did as it was asked in the email

but the serial number which was sent did not work

i attached the image of error

also I used old serial number but there was no change in error

same as before

Hello shizar,

Unfortunately you have installed an older version of BitDefender Internet Security and that is why the key didn't work. Here is what you have to do in order to install the current version :

1. Save and run first the uninstall tool from the next link and then reboot the PC:

http://www.bitdefender.com/uninstall

2. Save your product from the next link:

http://download.bitdefender.com/windows/de...ty_2010_32b.exe

- copy and paste the link into your browser and press [Enter]. \

- a new window will appear with two options: [save] and [run] - press [save]

- after saving the file, please run it in order to install it.

3. Register it with your license key .
