Bd Icon Missing From Toolbar

Currently trialling BD IS 2010 with 11 days left. Until a couple of days ago, I was quite impressed especially with the very non-intrusive performance - PC plods along merrily even during scans - BD doesn't appear to take over like some other IS programs.

My 'problem' is I am now missing the BD icon.

Using Vista Business SP2. Task manager shows processes BD Agent and BD Security Centre with CPU at 0% on each. Total CPU is only 8 - 15%

Have I inadvertently changed some setting? Is this (non) activity related to some update - either BD or MS?

Or am I concerning myself over nothing?

I am reluctant to proceed with purchase until I'm sure I'm getting a good solution.

Any advice would be gratefully received
