Question About Version Usage

Hi Everyone,

I would like to ask that I have Bitdefender Internet Security 2008 and notice that the website has 2010 available in the download section. My 2008 subscription did not expire yet. I would like to ask if I would be able to use the serial key from the 2008 and install the 2010 version? Do all serial have their set version or it can be upgraded from downloading the trial version and using your current serial key? Someone please let me know if you understood what I am trying to say. Thank you in advance for your help.

Yes itt works , I have done itt with my licence key from BD total security and everything works.

For free upgrade to the latest version of the product :Total Security 2010.Please follow the steps below in order to install Bitdefender v2010: 

1. Use our uninstall tool in order to uninstall/delete any previous BitDefender related files: www.bitdefender.com/uninstall Access the link and when the window with the BitDefender file appears, > > please choose the "Save to disk" option. Save the tool on the PC, run it and restart the computer when prompted. 2. Install BitDefender using the latest installation kit available for download. Please note that you need to download (save) the installation kit prior to running it.

The BitDefender Total Security 2010 installation kit can be downloaded from : http://download.bitdefender.com/windows/desktop/total_security/final/en/msi2010/setup.exe

During the setup process you will be prompted for your license key. Please use the license key received when you purchased to register BitDefender.
