Bitdefender Logs Will Only Display In Internet Explorer

Since upgrading to BitDefender 2010, when I open a log, it uses Internet Explorer by default, not my default browser Firefox. When I right click on the log and "Open With" Firefox, the Firefox window just displays the drive letter in the top left hand corner, e.g. "C:\" and nothing else.

I hate Explorer and do NOT want to use it.

1. Is there any way I can force BD to use Firefox.

2. How can I get Firefox to read the display the xml in the log correctly?

windows explorer -> tools -> folder options... -> file types -> scroll down to XML and highlight it -> change...

then you can choose any application to open XML files

i had similar problem but on my side XML files were being opened by Dreamweaver.

above method worked.
