Bdis2009 Firewall Conflit With New Windows Live Messenger

Hello,

since the installation on the new Windows Live Messenger I must disable the BD Firewall to have access to Live Messenger server despite the fact that all rules show "Allow"

Recommendations?

Hello Emile,

For start please open BitDefender, click on the Switch to Advanced View button, and then click on the Firewall module. Select the Network tab in the upper menu and click on the current "Network Type", pull down the drop-down menu and select "Trusted Local", Stealth to "No" and Generic to "Yes". After that click on the Rules tab and click on the Reset Rules button. Check to see if the same issue occurs with Windows Live Messenger.
