Cannot Register With Error: The License Key Doesn't Matach The Product Type

I have previously installed Internet security 2009 and uninstalled using the uninstallation tool.

After that I downloaded and installed Antivirus 2010, and tried to type in the license I just purchased online.

However I keep on receiving the error as above.

Please advice.

I searched for your account and your license key is valid for BitDefender Total Security 2009 . This means that you can install and register BitDefender Total Security 2010. You have installed a different version of BitDefender and that is why you received that message. If you want to perform the upgrade, just follow the instructions that you will find here .
