Vseerv.exe - Application Error

I am just running the trial version 2010 with a view to purchasing. All has gone well but I am getting "out of the blue" a "vsserv.exe - Application Error"

The content of the message is,

The instruction at "0x02faed48" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "written".

Click Ok to terminate the program.

There is also a fault reporting message which says BitDefender has been stopped and it will start again.

Is this a bug? I am the only one for whom this happens? (Can't find any other reference on the forum.) Will it go away?
