Major Update For Bdav 2010 Fixed - At Least For Me
The major update for BDAV 2010 that was first released at the beginning of November caused me major problems, booting took forever, if it worked, Registry control was asking to allow all sorts of unusual, weird updates, and an audio driver suddenly had problems, causing me to lose all sound. (Never had a chance to check for USB issues reported by others with these same symptoms.) I finally had a chance to beta test the updated version posted last week. (For BDAV, the update went from about 17860KB to 18076KB). Now things are working better.
If you've been using the temporary workaround to bypass the major update, and you have a way to back out changes if things don't work for you, you might want to give the update another try.
Again, this worked for me (BD AntiVirus on Win XP), but YMMV.
