Hello. I have recently renewed my PC and I returned to the bitdefender site to download a copy of bitdefender. The only option available was V10. This is now installed as a trial copy. But I want to key my licence number to validate a full copy. Unfortunately, when I enter the key in the registration wizard, it gives me a message stating'bitdefnder registration failed.'Please can anyone clarify. The help and chat and phone links on the web site dont work.Thank you.

Hello bunnyagogo,

You license key is valid for BitDefender Total Security 2008. This means that you can register without any problems, BitDefender Total Security 2010. If you have installed another version of BitDefender, it is normal to receive an error message when you try to register it . In case you did not install the correct version, please follow the steps bellow :

1. Save and run first the uninstall tool from the next link and then reboot the PC:

2. Save your product from the next link:

http://download.bitdefender.com/windows/de...ty_2010_32b.exe

- copy and paste the link into your browser and press [Enter].

- a new window will appear with two options: [save] and [run] - press [save]

- after saving the file, please run it in order to install it.

3. Register it with your license key .
