Multiple Viruses Found In Task Manager Processes

When I printed a list of "Windows Task Manager Processes" there were 73 processes running. I went through every single one, looking up it's name online and at LEAST 20 of them are active viruses. Why isn't BitDefender catching them? When I run a system scan or Deep scan i only get that it picked up a couple of cookies to clean out. BUT it does show 241 files not checked because they are password protected. Not sure how to scan those. I need HELP! :(

  • Hello nbeaver,

Please provide us some examples of the processes that may be malicious . . Also please follow the steps bellow :

    1. Save the tool from the next link on your Desktop:

    http://www.bitdefender.com/files/Knowledge...ile/sysdump.exe

    2. Run it and you will notice that a command prompt window will appear on your screen.

    3. Please note that the information gathering process can take a several minutes therefore please wait until the command prompt window disappear by itself. The output of this tool is a new file called sysdump.tar placed in the same location with sysdump.exe

    4. After the file is generated please upload it on http://www.sendspace.com/ then post here the download link.
