Bitdefender Blocking Cisco Vpn

I reviewed the forums and found this problem has been described by others, but I am not sure if a solution was ever developed.

Someone finally came up with a solution to simply disable BitDefender NDIS filter driver for a specific adapter if they're using Vista. Unfortunately, I have found no solution for Windows XP.

A similar issue was posted here:

My configuration:

Windows XP SP3 32-bit

Cisco VPN client 4.6.00.0045

From what I can tell, Bitdefender only trusts the adapter, and set the network to a single IP address, in my case 172.26.142.90/32. I need to be able to add a multiple IP address, for example, 10.0.0.0/255.0.0.0, in order for the VPN to work properly. Unfortunately, I can't seem to edit any fields for BitDefender.

  • Any idea how to fix this problem? Since I consult, I checked whether Bitdefender was compatible with Checkpoint SecuRemote VPN software, and found it had a similar problem. So this may be a problem with VPN client software that create routes behind the virtual device.

I've used Checkpoint ZoneAlarm to create zone and routes that it won't filter, but can't seem to find the same options for BitDefender.

Cisco VPN 5.0.06 not working in Windows 7. Hope that gets fixed as well.
