Keep Getting Bsod From Bitdefender Internet Security 2010

Hi, well first of all im really dissapointed because i looked around for a while for the best replacement for avast pro which i was running, this was coming to an end and instead of renewing i decided on bitdefender as i usualy use the online scanner if i get problems which avast couldn't fix.

i uninstalled avast restarted my pc and that went fine, i installed bitdefender and it told me to restart my pc, just before it was about to start i got a bsod, i know for a fact i havnt got a virus on my pc as i run tests before i uninstalled avast with a few programs inscluding bit defenders online scanner.

i cant uninstall bd in safe mode as it says i cant, i downloaded the full update which was nearly 70mb but that says it cant run in safe mode, what can i do?

i am running windows 7 32bit

could anyone please help?

Boot into safe mode and go to services (Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services) and deactivate all four BitDefender services.

You might also want to run msconfig (Start > Run > Type MSCONFIG [Enter] > Startup) and deactivate all three startup items from BitDefender (bdagent, ieshow, ...).

Reboot. If your problem did come from BitDefender you should be fine now.

You can now uninstall and/or check for further assistance with bd-support.

I am sorry, but I don't recall the exact names of the four services and the three startup items but you will be able to identify them easily as they all carry BitDefender in their name/path.

I just purchased bit defender internet security 2010 for my laptop.

Acer Aspire 64

1.66 Ghz

2.5+ RAM

DL and install seem to go ok, but when I restart the computer to let the registry changes take effect, I get blue screen and a crash dump:( I have restored my computer 4 times. any ideas about why this program is crashing my comp?
