I want to use port 3390 (not 3389) to use Remote Desktop Connection from outside to my desktop in BitDefender Total Security 2010?
Please help
Thanks
Hello delphiman,
To set BitDefender Firewall to allow Remote Desktop Connections to be listened and accepted on port 3390, you have to edit the default firewall rule by following these steps:
Application: svchost.exe
Cmd. Line: Any
Check Parent: No
Adapter: Any
Protocol: TCP
Local Address: Any IP : RDP
Remote address: Any IP : 1024-65535
IP version: Any
Local: No
Direction: Both
Network events: Traffic, Listen
Action: Allow
Please post if this solved your problem.
