Bitdefender Didn't Catch An Autoryn Virus On Flash Memory
when i mounted my flash memory it had an autorun virus on it but the Bitdefender didn't recognize it
i made it scan the whole flash but it sayed the flash was clean
then i scanned the virus file alone and bitdefender also reported it as clean
so i had to manually remove it
how do i make it discover these viruses
N.B. the antivirus database was up to date

Hello dr.nazy,
In order for detection for unknown threats to be added to BitDefender database, you have to submit the suspected files for analysis to BitDefender Labs. You can do this in multiple ways:
- by contacting Technical Support through Live Assistance
- by using the online contact form
- or by packing the suspected files in a password-protected archive, using the password infected (details in my signature), uploading the archive on a file sharing server of your choice (like www.sendspace.com) and sending me the download link by PM.
If you still have some samples of the undetected threat, please follow one of the above alternatives.
