UNABLE TO DOWNLOAD VIRUS DEFINITIONS

I've been unable to download virus defintions since April 11, 2007 (current size is 1574 kb). Every time I try to update Bitdefender, the screen seems to freeze. Then it shows that Bitdefender is attempting to download the current Virus definitions (2% fo the file downloaded) then freezes againg. Then it shows a total of 484,687% updated while no files have been updated. I'm not sure what to do, but windows is now warning me that my PC is at risk because Bitdefender has failed to update its virus definitions. Any idea what I need to do to correct this dillema? I like to update my PC daily to ensure it is fully protected.

Try to set after upgrade 1 or 2 or 3

and save it

Try to update.

Sometimes the server is busy or (Wartungsarbeiten)

Select the version you have and install the update.

i want to download the virus def for manual update but the size of file have no changes after 1/1/2009!(it still 33.73 MB)and when i try to install it i get an error!!!

please help as soon as possible.
