Evil "gen.trojan.tp.bu4@bobk4!g" Virus... Please Help!

I'm using Windows XP... and I have bitdenfender 2010...

Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

I've run various scans and have detected this virus, among others, many times, and I've deleted many viruses. I acquired this terror because my bitdefender 2008 recently expired.

Anyway, can someone help please?

When bitdefender asks me what to do with the infected item, i clicked on it and it had this as a "pathway" to where the virus is located...
