Cannot Register Bitdefender Total Security 2010

I downloaded and installed BitDefender TotalSecurity 2010; it told me I needed to register, which was fine and expected; I bought the registration key, received it, I went to the program again, opened it, got the "Buy It" and "Register It" buttons again, hit "Register Now"...

...

And nothing happens. This seems to be the case no matter how long I wait or how many times I press the button, or the "Register Now" link down at the bottom of the window; most of the other buttons and links seem to work fine, but I cannot register.

Is there some way around this?
