Computer Locks Up

last night I just paid & installed BD on my Desktop & HP Pavillion zd7000 Laptop.

both computers have identical programs.. no other virus scanners...

my Desktop works PERFECT..

However BD always locks up my Laptop..

Note: My laptop NEVER Locks up.. I've run many scanners on this

before.. with NO ISSUES.. NEVER LOCKS UP !!!

I did get a manual ( right click on C:\ ) which scanned PERFECTLY !!

..

The Quick ssys scan & auto logon scan worked

but Every "normal " Deep sys scan, system scan, & doc scan LOCKS UP..

.. this locks up the keyboard, mouse, activity light, Everything.. you have to Power Down

to get out of the lockup.

I also tried safe mode.. no help..

I cut off all screen savers, advance power options.. no help.

I noted which file it locked up on.. manual scanned it.. the file was ok..

it mostly stops on different files

however twice it stopped on CNXT.SYS...

..

Please Help.. this BitDefender is NO GOOD to me like this..

..

there's NEVER any log created once it locks up..

is there a way to create an ongoing Log to see what's happening ?

should I go ahead and request a Refund ?
