When BitDefender downloads a major update (one that requires a system reboot), the user is still notified every 20 minutes that it needs to be rebooted, even in Game Mode. This means that when playing a game, the user must first minimize and select what to do before he can continue playing. So my suggestion is to implement a "postpone" button, which will postpone when the notification is to be shown again. When in game mode, the notification would never display, and only when game mode is turned off.
Just thought this might be useful seeing how we lost a competitive multiplayer clan game because of this :S
