Could you please answer me another query? Yesterday, I spent several hours browsing the net, trying to find a website where I could make an online checking and I found one called "infectedornot.com" or something, which apparently is owned by Panda, do you know it? Is it reliable?

Panda has an online scanner but is called activescan, here is the link: www.pandasoftware.com/products/ActiveScan.htm

If you wanna scan only a file you can use this one: www.virustotal.com

To scan unknown files by multiply scanners you can upload them on jotti : http://virusscan.jotti.org/

Panda has also nanoscan : http://www.nanoscan.com/

When something is found then you have to scan with active scan 2 (= totalscan). That is the newest version of their active scan.

The site you mentioned is legit.
