Exploit.ADOB.Stream.AK - how to get rid of it?

Options

Nice product, BD, but although it has identified an infection I have, it seems I can't get rid of the virus. Which is, of course, Exploit.ADOB.Stream.AK. I've tried searching in here for the answer, to no avail. And the Microsoft site isn't any help either. So -- how can I get rid of this little booger? I know where it is hiding -- BD told me that much. I assume I have to go kill a registry key to rid myself of it... can anyone point me in the right direction to some good instructions?

Thanks in advance!

Artie

    Hi ArtWorker

Try to empty all temp folders. You can use ccleaner for it : http://www.filehippo.com/download/53921335...97394/download/

Don't forget to uncheck yahoo toolbar during installation. Use the cleanup function.

I also suggest that you also check the windows update site. Where is the file located?

The file should be an HTML, most likely in the Temporary Internet Files folder. If you can find it, please attach it to a post and I'll have a look at it. If I'm right, the file can't be disinfected, it can simply be deleted.
