I Have A Problem

When I made a scan for my computer by using bitdefender internet security 2010, I faced a problem that bitdefender didn't scan password protected items, skipped items and over compressed items. What can I do?

for password encrypted files switch to Expert Mode -> Antivirus section -> Virus Scan tab

there choose the task (Deep Sysytem Scan or System Scan or whatever) and click Properties icon on the left.

in the Properties window Overview tab click Custom button, and scroll down to Encrypted Files Action Options.

at the very bottom there's an option Action to take when a password protected file is found ->

as an action choose "Promt for password".

BitDefender 2010 has a new feature called SmartScan, which decreases the duration of the scan by adding clean files to a cache so that they will be skipped at the next scan if the files have not been accessed or modified in any way. If a file that is already present in the cache is accessed, then it will be removed from the cache.
