Wrong Username(email-id) For Activation

I have given bitdefender a wrong email address as a username and I am not getting the activation e-mail..


is there any way to change it????


Please someone help me...

    i have also the same problem, and i know other people that also made that mistake. Can someone help us how to correct the wrong e-mail used for registration?

    Ok, here is what i did:


    - Unistall Bitdefender 2010


    - Run Bitdefender Uninstall Tool


    - Reboot


    - Fresh install of Bitdefender IS 2010


    - New acount created with the correct e-mail (same registry key used).


    - Voilá B)

    The bitdefender i have is only for one user.....will it work after uninstall??

    Hello all,


    For those of you wanting to change the email address without reinstalling the software,there is another way:


    1.Open a command prompt window:


    Start-->Run-->type: CMD --> OK (or Windows key+R to open the Run box).


    2.Type in the following commands followed by Enter at the end:


    CD \Program Files\BitDefender\BitDefender 2010 [hit Enter]


    bdwizreg \account [hit Enter]


    A new window will open allowing you to change the account information.


    Note: the above command is an example when BitDefender is installed by default in Program Files\BitDefender\BitDefender 2010.


    If the program is installed on another location,then you need to change the path accordingly.

    But it says ''The system could not find the path specified''


    I checked the location and it is the same as what you have given.

    [Enter key] is the Enter button on your keyboard,not your BitDefender license key.

    i did that and it worked, but the activate button is still grayed out..

    That's how it must be after you enter the registration information.

    I reinstalled it and gave the correct email id.

    You don't need a patch for v2009.


    Just open your BitDefender and press the My Account button.
