Cannot Boot, Repair And System Restore Fail. What Now?

My system won't boot because NTOSKRNL.exe is corrupted or missing.

The repair option from win7 DVD fails (reason corrupt or missing file).

Restore points? Not available.

So I'm screwed.

I do not want to install Win7 again, as I know the quarantained files are there and some way or another should be able to be replaced.

Can you please tell me how to restore my x64 system from the command line? Will there be a patch that can be used command line?

I have a backup computer (win 7 32bits) I can use to make file transfers etc.

Thanks!

Hi Okky, I've used Acronis backup ever since Windows Vista backup almost deleted months of work. My Acronis backup is at least a week old, and although I can access a Sony Vaio backup option, I'm afraid it will not do any good as it will backup the messed up system with loads of files quarantained. If everything fails, I may use it to save some recent work, but it's not a very good option. Thanks for your reply though.
