Hi

i`m using bit-defender internet security 2010 and after installing it i saw my internet connection slowing down, i disabled scan web http traffic and saw my internet connection speed fixed very well.

i saw somewhere in this forum , one of moderators said to someone else that he had my same problem , i want to know disabling http traffic isn`t danger and my pc won`t infected?

Hello,

The 'Scan http traffic' feature should be used by users who are surfing the website from public networks, unsecured wireless networks or by users who are heavily surfing the web. Keep in mind that even with this function disabled your computer will still be protected as the Real Time Protection is enabled (Antivirus module) and any accessed file will be scanned before using it.
