[solved] Subscription Reset To 1 Year

I have just successfully reinstalled bitdefender to fix an installation issue but, now after having to reactivate the new installation with my key it has reset my subscription to 1 year.


I was offered an extra year extension for free for the "Trojan.fakealert.5" situation.


I don't know the exact number of days I had left but, it was 500 something and now after reinstalling it has reset my account to 365 days.


How can I resolve this with my account?


I sent an email responding to [Ticket ID:201003241006404] but, still haven't received any reply.

    The issue seems to have resolved after I rebooted the system.

    Your original was probably for a one year period. Sometime after reboot the product contacted the update server and validated your key, obtaining it's current status.
