Virus Signatures Won't Download

I am running the 64 bit version of Windows 7 with 32 bit Internet Explorer 8. I have tried to run the online scanner several times running IE 8 with administrator privileges. The engine will download quickly. The virus signatures will start to download slowly. At a certain point, the download just quits (the highest I have gotten is 56%). I have tried removing and reinstalling the program.


I have tried the download with my antivirus (Avira), firewall (PC Tools) and Threatfire all disabled.


Does anyone have any suggestions as to what may be going on?

    Running multiple security solutions on the same machine can cause slowdown and crashes.


    We recommend you to uninstall all other security products in order for Bitdefender to work properly.
