[solved] Licence Key Extension

I still have 11 months remaining on my current licence key for BitDefender Total Securty, but a local shop is selling it reasonably cheaply at the moment.
If I buy a new copy and register the licence key from it, will this extend my current subscription, or just give me 12 months from the date of registration?

Hello Scott,
Two license keys can be automatically merged if they are for the same product / no. of users. This is done by re-registering BitDefender. If not, Customer Care will handle it
