I followed a thread titled "Bitdefender Total Security 2010 Won't Update" to the bitter end and the last post said to upgrade to 2011. Are you saying that you have no solution for 2010? I have BD TS on Vista 32 bit and I have followed all the instructions without results. The Update module is all grey and will not allow any changes. I tried manual update from the tray icon and all it does is loop. This worked fine on XP and also on my Win 7 system.


Is there a solution for Vista on 2010?

    Yes, there is always a solution however it depends on the reason why you have the Update module Unavailable. Keep in mind that the quickest (IF it is not a malware related issue) is to perform the upgrade to 2011. It is 100% free upgrade as you will continue using your registration key you purchased - the older keys are compatible with the latest 2011 version.
