Block Url With Keywords Using Bdts 2010

I want to block certain domain names that may contains specif words, e.g. consider word "google":

http://mail.google.com/
http://www.google.com/

should be blocked.

But,

http://in.search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=Ag69WNsnKVrbtrpSTiSH8oeuitIF?vc=&p=google&toggle=1&cop=mss&ei=UTF-8&fr=yfp-t-304

should not be blocked. Can this be achieved using BDTS 2010 firewall?

  • Hi rakson,

    Be informed that you can block the domains you mentioned through the Parental Control module. In order to do this, I sugest you to follow the steps bellow:

    1. Double click on the BitDefender icon located on the Desktop to open the software;

    2. Click on 'Settings' and then switch UI to: EXPERT MODE;

    3. Click on OK;

    4. Go to 'Parental Control' and select your user;

    5.Click on Settings and then choose the 'Web' tab;

    6.Under 'Create Your Own Filter' you have the button 'Block Website';

    7.Click on it, enter the website you want and from 'Action' choose the 'Block' option;

    8. Click on Finish.

    In case you want to block the access of a specific word, choose the "Keywords" tab from the BitDefender Parental Control window and enter the word you want to be blocked in the 'Keyword' filed.

    Please feel free to contact us with any additional questions or concerns.

    Thank you.
