Cant Delete Cache.000 In Plugins Folder

i just want to delete this cache.000 in plugins folder. the location is programfiles\commonfiles\bitdefender\bitdefender threat scanner\...
it wont delete by any means either by taking ownership of the file...
my question is should i delete this file or leave it alone coz i dnt knw wats the function of this file...
