Bitdefender Let In Spyware Defender Virus

In general I'm very satisfied with BitDefender, it provides a reliable defense against most of virus, but yesterday it let in Spyware Defender and does nothing about it. Any suggestions on what should I do scan any specific folders or somethings, because scans show that computer is clear. Please help.
