Vsserv.exe Slowing Computer

Hello, intermittently my computer will slow down and become unusable (lasts a few minutes and occurs every 30 mins or so) - CPU usage 100% and task manager shows vsserv.exe to be the apparent problem. This problem started when Bit Defender (total) 2010 installed on Windows XP. Googled problem and similar Bit Defender forums posts come up with solutions emailed to users.


Would prefer not to have to remove Bit Defender. Any technical support would be much appreciated.

    please do a free upgrade to BitDefender 2011 version similar. I wish you success!
