Trojan In Mail Archive - How To Delete

Hi

I did a full scan of my harddrive. It says the Trojan.Spy.HTML.Bankfraud.DQ is in message 6845 in an archived inbox. There is really no way to find that message right? Do I need to delete the entire inbox?

Can the Trojan be harmful if it's in an archive of a mailbox I no longer use, or is the point that it buried itself there to "hide"?

Thanks for your help. I sincerly hope to be able to replace my current security software with Bitdefender once I"m confident!

What mail program are you using? Follow the instructions that I gave to bushdoctor in this topic. You have to scroll down.

So you can just delete the infected mails instead of deleting the inbox

    Best regards

Hi Niels - Thanks. I'm using Thunderbird. Should I use this?
