[resolved]Scan In Safe Mode?

Hi to all,

I have read previous threads with regards to scanning with bitdefender in safe mode and using a script (batch file) to scan but these were older versions.

Can anyone explain how to do this or if there is a location to do a scan in safe mode?

thanks in advance

  • Hello,

You can scan your computer in Windows Safe Mode if you will follow the steps below:

    1. Restart your PC in Windows Safe Mode

    2. Locate the file odscanui.exe located by default into:

    C:\Program Files\BitDefender\BitDefender 2011

    3. Double click on it to start the BitDefender Manual scan

    4. Click on the Add Folder button to add the path to be scanned

    5. Click on Start

DanyDan... thanks that is great, can you add the whole C drive to scan?

  • Yes you can. You're welcome :)

  • The same:
I want to scan my computer while I am in SAFE MODE + Network
Are these instructions (above) valid for 2021?
    Are there any updated instructions?

    Thanks

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
