[resolved]Scan In Safe Mode?

Hi to all,

I have read previous threads with regards to scanning with bitdefender in safe mode and using a ****** (batch file) to scan but these were older versions.

Can anyone explain how to do this or if there is a location to do a scan in safe mode?

Hello,

You can scan your computer in Windows Safe Mode if you will follow the steps below:

1. Restart your PC in Windows Safe Mode

2. Locate the file odscanui.exe located by default into:

C:\Program Files\BitDefender\BitDefender 2011

3. Double click on it to start the BitDefender Manual scan

4. Click on the Add Folder button to add the path to be scanned

5. Click on Start
