I've been trying to register BitDefender Total Security 2008 all evening with no success <img class= " />

I'm running Vista Home and the registration wizard doesn't connect to their server.

I tried creating the account through their webpage, NOTHING...I can't get a webpage!

Is the server down?

I paid over $100 for this product and I'm now running it as a 30 day trial. Not a happy costumer here <img class= " />

Creating a BD account is not necessary to register your BitDefender. Just use the registration key to register the product and, at the 2nd step (when you should create an account), just select Create an account later.

The BD account is used if you want to get E-Mail or Phone support. Also, when you re-new your license the account might offer you some advantages (bt I don't know this for sure).

Did you removed your previous security program? If not follow the instructions I gave in this topic.

If you have another firewall installed you have to uninstall it. Did you have disabled windows firewall?
