Trojan Generic 5341

Recently i scan my computer using bitdefender 10 and the result as below:

<System>=>C:\WINDOWS\system32\services.exe (memory dump) Infected: Trojan.Generic.5341

<System>=>C:\WINDOWS\system32\services.exe (memory dump) Disinfection failed

<System>=>C:\WINDOWS\system32\services.exe (full dump) Infected: Trojan.Generic.5341

<System>=>C:\WINDOWS\system32\services.exe (full dump) Disinfection failed

Please help how to overcome the problem?

Hi adam,

I also noticed this alert today. I think it's a false positive, but we have to wait for a Virus Analyst to confirm it.

Yes, please let us know if this is legit or not... I just got a couple infections cleared, I hate to think this this critical file "services.exe" suddenly became infested... critical Windows files are not easily cleaned up...

I've just had the same report. Also my processor seems very busy, almost 93% and computer has slowed down. Hope Bitdefender can advise what should be done.
