[duplicate]Game Mode Isn't Working For A Game

Hi guys,

I'm using BitDefender Internet Security 2011, and am having problems running a game known as Pandora Saga.

I've ran this game before in the past, but remember having several problems which I am having now.

Even in game mode, the game does not run, and through lots of tweaking and uninstalling, I've isolated the problem in that BitDefender prevents the game from running.

The game ran fine without BitDefender on the system. I have tried adding the game to the firewall exclusions, antivirus exclusions, game mode on, run as admin on the game, compatability mode, etc, to no avail.

My system is Windows 7 32Bit.

Can anyone give me a hand?

I have not had any problems with other games before which weren't fixed using any of the above mentioned methods, however, for this game, nothing seems to work.

Please explain what exactly happens with the game when you launch it ? It will not start at all ? Gives an error message ? Please also post a screenshot of any message you may receive when you try to start the game. Do you have AVC and/or IDS enabled ? Please open BitDefender, go to the Antivirus tab in Expert View then click on 'Advanced Settings' button to check the two settings. Disable them then try to start the game again.

What is the game executable file ? Can you provide me with more details about the game ?
