Out of the blue,Bitdefender Security service, vsserv.exe, has started up hogging my CPU,taking upto 50%-60% of it.
I've never had a problem with it before, but today, even after rebooting the laptop twice,it refuses to back down.
It is slowing everything in the laptop. In desperation,I tried turning off the AV,and almost everything else, but to no effect.
Could anyone suggest a remedy for this problem?
I have BitDefender Antivirus Pro 2011 installed on a Windows 7 32-bit laptop.
Thanks.
