[resolved]renewing Bitdefender 2009 - Inability To Do So

HELP!!!!


Today I have spent 5 hours attempting to upgrade/renew my Bitdefender 2009 as it expires in 3 days. Every time I attempt to 'check-out' the page is unable to be displayed. I have attempted to contact Bitdefender via online help with no success and have tried the Australian Phone Number listed several times however it rings a few times then disconnects.


I'm due to head off travelling tomorrow afternoon so need to have an active up to date Internet Protection enabled.


I'm very frustrated by the seemingly lack of available assistance both on the website and via the non-working phone number.


All I want to do is renew/upgrade my Internet protection.....HELP!!!

    I noticed that you actually completed a new purchase for BitDefender Internet Security 2011, however you did not have the chance to register the new product yet.


    I will reply to your existing support requests via email with the necessary upgrade steps and the new license key.

    Thanks, I finally got through on the phone number and was advised to unistall the 2009 version and download the 2011 version then attempt to renew.


    And it worked!!! Yayyyyy!!!


    So although it took a few attempts to make contact, I've now successfully renewed and upgraded.


    Thanks to all the Bitdefender staff who assisted.
