Bitdefender Blocking Access To Alice: Madness Returns
I've got BitDefender Internet Security 2011, fully up to date. I downloaded the new game 'Alice: Madness Returns' off of Steam last night, but the game will not launch. It seems Bitdefender is somehow blocking access. I tried adding a rule for the game's executable to the firewall whitelist, but it did not make a difference. Tried fully uninstalling Bitdefender, and the game launches just fine. Has anybody found a way to run this game while Bitdefender is installed? Am I just missing some setting somewhere? Haven't had any problems playing other games downloaded from Steam or installed from disc.

i have the same problem.0 -
And me as well. Both my desktop PC and Laptop have the same Problem with starting it.
It doesn't seem to be Bitdefender only as the ea-forum thread states a few other AV-programs as well, but Bitdefender definetly is one of them.0 -
Hi.
Please addc:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\alice madness returns\Binaries\Win32\AliceMadnessReturns.exe
