Failed To Launch Bitdefender Scanner

"failed To Launch Bitdefender Scanner" i am getting this message when I try to scan any folder manually.

What should I do?

I tried KB article instructions given in bit defender 2009, but it doesnt work... it says that "an error occurred wile creating a file in a destination folder"

I am using windows7 home premium
