[resolved]Av Is Turned Off, But Still Blocks Apps?

Ok, I have a flight simulator called IL2 Sturmovik 1946. It is modded and installed in 'X:\My Programs'. UAC is OFF. But I am having problems getting it to run. Sometimes the app cannot write to the game folder. But every time, BitDefender AV terminates the app!!

So, I turn BitDefender AV and Firewall OFF, and it still sees me run the app and terminates it!! WHY is BitDefender Antivirus still running AFTER I turn it OFF????? " />

See the attached picture. AV is OFF, and I even have the entire folder Excluded, as well as the il2fb.exe in the allowed Firewall programs list and Game Manager list. What the heII is going on here?? 3 Other guys that I fly with who also use BitDefender have this same problem!!

For me It was as simple as going into advanced settings and excluding the programs executable.

(I thought this was accomplished in the exclusion tab, were I excluded the whole folder. Apparently, this area only excludes files and folders from the scanning process, where the advanced tab provides exclusion from protection).
