However the thread doesn't detail a solution. Anyone have any ideas what this support person actually did?

    Hello,


    Please disable AVC or add the executable files for Railworks as exceptions and the issue will be resolved. As the game uses certain scripts, AVC will block it if enabled and left on default level (High).


    1. Open BitDefender and switch it to Expert View;


    2. Go to Antivirus >>> Advanced Settings >>> Disable AVC;


    3. Test to see if the issue still reproduce;


    4. Add the EXE files to exceptions under: Antivirus >>> Advanced Settings >>> Exceptions;


    Please confirm that the issue is now resolved.
